Why Consider our Indian Wedding Photography and Videography Services

At the Finishing Touch, we believe that teamwork isn’t just a buzzword – it’s the secret ingredient to capturing your wedding day perfectly.

Here’s FOUR reasons why we love working together as a  Indian wedding photography and videography team

Female & Male Dynamic Duo

Our wedding Indian photography and videography team comprises both female and male professionals ( Sinead, Maisie, Mark, James, Kenton & Ian) adding a unique dynamic to our approach.

In Sync with each others needs

Our team is like a well-oiled machine. We understand each other’s needs intuitively, ensuring that both photography and videography complement each other seamlessly.

The Banter Between Us

We believe that a relaxed and jovial atmosphere brings out the best in people. Our team’s friendly banter not only keeps the mood light but also helps in getting natural and happy expressions in your group and couple photos.

Equipment Set-Up Made Easy

Time is of the essence on your wedding day. Our wedding photography and videography team is familiar with each other’s equipment and needs means setup is quick and efficient, allowing more time to focus on capturing those fleeting moments that make your day special.

We know how important all the Indian rituals and ceremonies are to the families on both sides, which is why we record each element on multiple cameras so nothing is missed.

We understand that most couples are looking for Indian wedding photography and videography partners who not only provide exceptional service but can also reduce the worry that comes with orchestrating such an important event.

So with that in mind here are 5 Finishing Touch promises to help relieve that stress.

Originating from the world of traditional English church weddings, we’ve embraced the traditions of Sikh and Hindu weddings, each with its unique charm and customs.

Respecting Traditions, Embracing Flexibility

In English church weddings, we’ve learned the art of capturing beautiful moments within the constraints of strict ceremony rules. Any movements during the ceremony are often limited, teaching us to be more strategic and thoughtful in the positioning of our equipment.

Accommodating Mandap Weddings

Transitioning to Indian wedding Photography and Videography over a three-year period opened a new realm of possibilities, we’ve found that priests at Indian weddings are generally more accommodating, allowing us to reposition ourselves for the perfect shot and get more interesting angles on the Bride and Groom, family/guests, musicians and the Priest

Treading Carefully in Gurdwaras

Our respect for cultural sensitivities is paramount, especially in sacred spaces like Gurdwaras. We quickly learned the dos and don’ts of an Anand Karaj ceremony and approached these ceremonies with the utmost respect and mindfulness, adhering to their etiquette and traditions. Our aim is always to blend into the background, ensuring that our presence enhances rather than distracts from the solemnity and sanctity of the ceremony.

Top 5 Frequently asked questions

As we are based near Leamington Spa of Warwickshire, we mainly captured Asian wedding photography and videography in the Midlands area, both East and West.

More specifically we find ourselves covering weddings at Hotels, Halls, Banqueting Suites and Gurdwaras in Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Smethwick, Birmingham, Coventry, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and our nearby Cotswolds District.

However, we sometimes travel further afield, including London, if the Bride or Groom’s morning preparations need to start there before heading back to the Midlands area.

The Edited Photos will be ready 4 weeks after the wedding day.

You can view/download all images from the day and select those you would like for your album.

The wedding Videos are usually ready 6 weeks after the final video payment is paid.

Over the past 20 years, we have captured wedding photography and videography of different faiths, including Buddism, Judaism and Christianity, including Catholicism and Greek Orthodox

However, over the past 10 years,  90% of our bookings are from  Sikh and Hindu faiths. So we are quietly confident that we know of all the standard rituals of a typical Indian wedding day, and of course the pre-wedding events, including the mendhi, maiyan, choora, sangeet and Jaggo.

Absolutely,  we love to do pre-wedding photo shoots, which is why it’s included by default in our Indian wedding photography and videography wedding packages.

It’s a great opportunity to meet your photographer, either Maisie or Sinead and build a positive relationship before your wedding day.
You will learn quite quickly that we don’t do overly rigid serious poses (unless of course, that’s your thing!) but we try to encourage smiles and laughter and hopefully some romance between the 2 of you.

A Booking Fee of 10% of the total balance is paid to secure the wedding date/s.

A balance of 40% is payable 6 weeks before the wedding and then 35% will be payable before receiving your wedding photographs.

The remaining balance will be payable once you reach the top position of the video editing schedule.

Once Paid the Video edit is usually completed within 6 weeks
